RIP Paul Kantner

So very sad to hear just now of the passing of one of my big music heroes - Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane & Jefferson Starship. His songs influenced mine so much, especially the sci-fi ones. Without those, I might not have found filk, and my life wouldve been very different..
Ah, the big chords, the gathering of voices, the BIG vision lyrics, his/their music was a big part of my life. I saw him play 8 times and met him a few times, and I even opened for Jefferson Starship once. Big hugs tonight to my Jefferson chums.
