unclechristo | Solo songs concert + Grace & The Magic Roots @ Hinckley ACT

Had a fab songs gig at Hinckley ACT along with Grace & The Magic Roots - listening crowd, posh stage & sound and we even got a proper backstage dressing room and food! It was so cool to see and hear Grace & Lawrence again from Grace and the Magic Roots - they are fab! They brought all kinds of electronic pedal contraptions inclusing a homemade synthesizer.
I did 2 x 45min sets with G&TMR set in the middle of them. It was a treat to play a full concert to a great listening crowd @ Hinckley ACT. Tho a little rusty, I felt I'd done a good job. Sold a coupla CDs - Need to get some more songs gigs!!!
Top comment after gig. A nice gent said - "You make me nervous! You keep switching between being serious and funny. It's like you're 2 different people. In that respect, you remind me of Harry Secombe"... :-)
