Concert with Lorraine Bowen
20 Years since first solo songs album
10 Years Govannen Anniversary
Quadelectronic 7th Anniversary
2 YouTubes with my music passed 1 Million listens.
A bit quieter gig wise but a lot busier in the studio, releasing 10 albums, solo and in 6 different collaborations.
Celtic - a new album from Govannen The Endless Road and we had some special concerts throughout the year amongst all the weddings.
Songs - following the Out Of The Blue album, songs took a bit of a back seat til the winter. However there were great double headers with Grace and the Magic Roots and Mia and The Moon.
Opening for Lorraine Bowen and getting to meet her at last was a dream come true.
Jazz - 2 jazz albums - At last recording an album Time Will Tell with singer and friend Jodi Krangle, and a solo piano improvisations album Midnight Window Blue which was very special to me. I also had a fun solo piano concert at St Andrews Church, Aylestone.
Electronic - Audible Light released 2 special albums one live and one studio album, and Memory Wire one live album. These were focussed around the Ambient Underground events which are now quarterly.
New Age - 3 albums - Flute Dreamer came out on CD in January, and 2 collaborations - a 2nd album, Spirits Of The Angels with Celtic harper Mo Coulson, and Ayurveda Gold with sitar player Neil Donoghue.
Overall a pretty cool year. One in which the work came in busy clumps, then the odd empty week. Still I have enjoyed the variety and have been very happy with the results of the recordings and also have felt the benefit of setting up different gigs in different combinations.
