unclechristoBack to work - a wedding ceilidh with nice folks at Barnsdale Lodge, Rutland Water. Deli gave us a stressy moment - she came straight from work and got to the gig and found she'd not got her fiddle. She then set off home for it, but left her handbag & money on stage with us, and she didn't have enough petrol in the car to get there. Luckily without realising this, en route she decided to arrange for a taxi to call at her house and bring it to the gig. |Lucky for us because had she continued she'dve been out of petrol with no money to pay for any...
Upon ringing for progress we discovered the taxi driver missed hearing about the picking up of the fiddle and was on his way to us without them... He had to go back. We did a couple of dances with me on keys/accordian and Deli on bodhran and it arrived and it was fine. Poor Deli !
