Rosie Lesurf organised a midsummer celidh in aid of lukemia & lymphoma charities. Govannen were the ceilidh band, Cathy Lesurf did the calling and there were acoustic sets from Rosie and chum, Cathy and friends, and there was an Armenian dance troup which I joined in on. Little did they know how many Armenian albums I have :-) I fun evening and it raised £1200 for the charities - well done Rosie!

Govannen next treked to the Peak District to play a wedding in the village hall of Ashford In The Water - a wild cancing crowd danced all night both ceilidh and rock n roll. We felt we were a perfect fit for this wedding, and afterwards the couple sent an email saying the same.
