In a bid to get more match fit for my song performance for the upcoming filk convention I played a couple os 30min song slots.

Thu 30th May - Don Quixote - Queens Bar
Run by lovely Paula, this was at the new venue just round the corner from my house. Quite a noisy bar really - I bashed my songs out OK-ish - I was pretty rusty tho... Neighbours and chums Greg & Tonya were there which was nice.

Sat 1st June - Riverside Festival
It was a bit hot and sunny for me but I luckily found a rare parking space, ran over and did my 30mins. This felt the best my song sets had done for a while and some of the performance confidence came back which had been lacking from recent outings. Sold 6 CDs!!! Got lovely comments from nice crowd after.
