Govannen @ Oakham Festival

unclechristoA return visit to the Wheatsheaf, and Oakham Festival. Warmer night this time - good crowd despite £15 ticket including dinner - about 65.
We haven't done 2 1 hour sets concert style for a while so we could stretch things out a bit. Dan had been working in school all day and was exhausted but played well. We sold 4 cds - 1 Celtic Fire, 2 Water is Wides & 1 Sniff the Pony.
Finding the hot weather hard to sleep in by night and hard to concentrate in by day.
Finished book Cauldron by Jack McDevitt - the last in "Hutch" series. Felt a bit weaker than the last - less attention to detail which he usually is good at. An easy read tho which is part of his appeal, and the reality of his future.
Started a Charles heffield book - Cold As Ice - not read him in a while...
Ordered my studio furniture & attatchments for new house just now - eep!
