Govannen at Whitwell

Very quiet gig for Govannen at the Noel at Whitwell - we dusted off some new tunes, I took the Baby Taylor for a change - it needs setting up - and that was that. Justin took a video of a piece with my Flip camera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GRJ5MczXUk
Saturday - another night of weird dreams and a day feeling tired and to of it.
In my dream I was sedated in a hospital and when I awoke I was told 10 years had elapsed. I revisited my workplace, some kind of old folks home, and found the world a quite different place, unpleasantly so, factorylike. I then found little bits of things at home, cups etc, exactly as I;d left them, supposedly 10 years before. I then began to realise the whole story about me having been unconcious for 10 years was an elaborate fraud. There was more of course, lots of cycling etc - all in all weird, vivid and quite tiring.
Went to townin the day, had a nice lunch, but beyond that wasn't inspired to do much else apart from updating the Flip camera's software and posting the vid up. Found dealing with any detailed information a bit like trying to listen to 2 radio stations at once. Felt like I was channelling some information from somewhere else. I think also my brain was mentally trying to finish the India album as I kept thinking about things to be done on it.
Some days you just have to write off.
