unclechristoWas still quite tired and it was hard to get going but I started recording on the India album putting 9string guitar, tin whistle, bamboo flute and synth onto a track Carl & I had roughly laid out. Coming along. Just needs some real tabla I think.
Did a wheezy run in evening but my ipod crashed on return and the run log was lost :-( Too tired to do another.
I got the most recent Alex Cline Ensemble album The Constant Flame - I tend to get any album with Aina Kemanis on it. I think I can add Cline to my hero(in)es list - I have 3 of his albums and the standard is high - he tends to do spacious sounding chamber jazz - sometimes very open. I probably would be playing more music like this if I could ever have found any gigs playing it. He does a tribute to several artists including Toru Takemitsu. Hear some of the album here
