I checked sent Space Time CDs to CDBaby (just listened back to it with the benefit of distance - very pleased with it)
Then I checked out a gym, then went to town and bought some 2ndhand DVDs - a coupla Trek movies (IV & V) and a Spencer Tracy 3x set and a very cheap (8quid) Marlene Dietrich 8movie box set. That should keep me in telly for a while.
I felt better enough to do a little editing work on the India album, having fixed some dates with Carl the Sitar. Will probably do a little more on this today - need to change Atmosphere sounds for Omnisphere ones which on some of the waftier tracks means kind of starting the track again.
Was quite glad to play some music at last at the Cactus Cafe gig with Andy the Sax. Came home soooo tired tho - more or less went stright to bed. Feel better now tho.
Finished short story book Fred Pohl's Survival Kit - some of his tales from the 50s - and damn good they were. Started Carmen Miranda's Ghost is Haunting Space Station 3 collection of stories.
Finished my Mary Tyler Moore Show Series 4 Box Set which has (with Twilight Zone S3) been my telly at Oblong Studio lunch and dinner breaks. These shows are fun - will have a break for a while and order another series someday.
Hi from Tom
Date: 2009-03-05 04:05 pm (UTC)I have been busy in the studio laying down more tracks before Dave arrives and fixing up things using Cubase which I am still a novice at using :-(
Analog was so much easier and intuative but I am amazed at the things you can do in the digital world.
Take care my friend and Sue and I will get back over the pond one of these years.
