cold / Sniff the Pony!

So my end-of-gig throat has turned into a cold - nice...

Did my website's news page.


I also made a new page for the new Govannen - Live - Sniff the Pony page and made soundclips  - So I guess it;s out  - on a - you want one I'll print one - basis until I get a run done.
EDIT - only 1st soundclip is working - will fix soon.
EDIT2 - soundclips seem fixed now
EDIT3 - it seems all my soundclips housed at TheLinkup are down at the mo.
On discussion with Simon Strangeguitar I remixed the title track from the Continuum  - Yttrium album - cut 5 mins off it. Much better. I also remastered the final track as my previous edit was a bit brutal. Album comes in at 49mins which is fine. Artwork for this and The Tide of Faces album next. SS will do one and I'll do another I think.

Finished watching my Favourite Wife DVD (1940 Cary Grant Irene Dunne) - light and silly. About all I was up for.

Chris, I just tried to listen to the soundclips on that Sniff the Pony page, and only the first mp3 link worked.

On all the others, using Firefox 3 nothing happened, using IE 6 I got Error 403 - Forbidden, using Opera 9.5 gave "The remote server refuses to perform the request. This address is not available."

The first link worked in all three.

I;m using a new system for storing my soundclips..

I'm still getting the same problem I'm afraid.

Except now the first track fails as well!

All the same symptoms, except that in Opera the first track (only) shows a different error. It's a .NET type error page, headed "Server Error in '/' Application.", then giving the error as "Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file '\\10.47.48.5\tlu_temp_upload\2008070112\01gov4.mp3'" (and then a load of Stack Trace information)

Strange - I get as far as a track opening in mediaplayer, then it says I don't have the right codec. I think it must be a fault at their end as the links used to work - plus they haven't got back to me with my query...they announced they were down on the 29th and never announced being back up...
