The day started strangely as into my head came a humourous fake news piece about one of my fave bands The Gentle People - I did a kind of Beatles "Paul is Dead" story about the bands most elusive member. Got carried away - got quite detailed and sent it in. The band love it and put it on their myspace blog.

Then I got underway on a job I got thru Jodi the Voice - a backing track of a jazz song for her vocal for a documentary film. Got quite involved as I had to splice brush drum loops. Got there in the end. She'll now add her voice, then I'll mix it.

Had to pick up G from Kettering as all  trains from Cambridge had vanished.

Later on I mapped out the backing for my new song. Still doing my little jog every day...

Got some good news - the theremin session I recorded for Jackie Leven a while back - he loved it - used it all and is opening his album with some theremin :-)  Coolness - plus I get to invoice him for nice money :-)  Playing theremin and getting paid for it - life is good :-)

Got a photo session with Jazz Orient in Bedford tomorrow. It;s all go

Living life one day at a time. The writers strike put a damper on things but that's over now so I'm looking forward to working my butt off here in a bit.

Haven't done any music since the fall though. :(

I love reading about your exploits though. :D

Don;t work too hard or you'll have nothing to sit down on :-) Sorry - it's late and brain is fried.

Glad you like to read my blog - I never think of anyone else reading it - tho my mom used to. I always think its a bit businesslike - this then that then that. Wish I could be chatty and fun like Ms Ohi a.o.
