Yesterday was all about phonecalls and sorting appointments and gigs out.
I felt quite inspired to start recording the next album - Celtic Reiki but decided forst to FINALLY install Absynth 4 virtual synth on my computer. By the time I'd installed it - registered it, activated it, downloaded updates, installed updates, got it going, found an issue (soem sounds missing), went to forum, registered for forum, found problem was a known issue, much of the arvo was gone.
In the evening I went to the Whitehouse Acoustic Club that Dave Kirk & Co run. - I ended up running the sound with Dan who was there with a band. I played low whistle on a song with Dan and in my set tried 2 new songs out Finally and Time Will Tell before Dan joined me for Train of Thought - Fandango was there too - a nice evening.
Today I have boilers being serviced and house painters giving me quotes - I might get some recording done but don't bet on it. Need to write chords out for Sundays jazz gig.
