WQell I'm back at the ranch
Been the week of the cold - hopefully improving and with drugs will be ok for the restaurant gig tonight

Tues - went to London - went to Mole Jazz - they had a 50p sale - cool - lots of successes - only a couple of losers and I'll make a profit on them on ebay, - then met up with Anja and chilled in freezing London with my cold.

Weds - met up with sibylle which was cool - looking very medieval in ear-covering hat - we shopped in book and CD shops - haven't seen her since we were doing much the same thing in the summer - after hit HMV and spent too much bought CDs by The Dramatics Best 74-80 , Grace Slick - Manhole, Alice Faye - You'll Never Know - the latter 2 I used to have on vinyl. Still they kept me amused as my cold really hit hard after that.

Thursday - could do nothing but live in cotton wool land of my cold and my new CD toys.

Fri - cleaned up flat and said sad farewell to Anja who goes back to Hamburg soon. :-( Caught fast train home - did phone, email and mail. Got 2 nice CDs from my ebay birthday binge - The Dramatics Greatest Hits Live (lots of "let me hear you say "Yeah!" ") and Barry White - Can't Get Enough - great both - the BW, perhaps his best. inc Gld We Finally Made It - one of my faves - used to have the tape of this in my car years ago.

Cold is creeping back a bit now - getting head ready now for 2nites gig. Please no office parties 2nite asking for naff shite songs.

yes, she has .... but she didn't manage to check her mail well at all in london as the internet client was not working well, and so she didn't read the mail until too late ..... sorry!

the stupid hotel did not let me out of the contract either, i asked them and they said since it was company booked and reduced so much i would have to pay all nights even if i went back sooner ... kinda like the cheap flights thing, once you have one you cannot move the date or time at all.

sorry about that mess up. i will very much try to be less disorganized next time. let me treat you to lunch or dinner or something to make up for it? I really feel bad about it, expecially since Rafe sent me your phone number all well when I told him I didnt have it and was wondering if you got my email ..... . *hangs head*

They still have a mostly 50p rack - mostly very obscure stuff and the odd non-jazz - it's beneath the secondhand fusion rack.
I got a great one there tho - 2 Macedonian guitarists playing in a huge Macedonian monument. Very groovy.
