solo - wedding - Heather

Not done a solo piano/voice wedding for ages. KNew this was going to be a long day and it was. I was to play ooutside as guests arrive, then inside marquee after the meal and speeches. So I took small PA for outside and big one for inside and relocated during the meal. A long wait though inbetween - 2 and a half hours... Luckily the venue at a farm had a farm shop cafe with wi-fi otherwise I'dve had to sit in the car...
Still 45mins drive each way, 2 set ups and take dows, about 3 hours of waiting on a hot day in suit & tie, outdoorsy, with sunshine, in a field - I was soo tired when I got home - and the next day. I mustve done a lot of pacing coz my phone's pedometer said I;d walked nearly 5 miles :-)
