Govannen @ The Saddle Inn - Twyford

3 Burns Night gig in 4 days and this was more of an old fashioned small country pub gig which made a nice change from the 2 functions - we have played there before and they have booked us for a gig next year.

So Burns Night was quite a thing this year. Less comfortable doing Scottish music - as my grandfather was Irish I feel kind of OK being a jazz pianist in an Irish band, but I have no claim at all to Scottish roots, so feel I may as well be wearing a sombrero and playing in a Mariachi band...
