Govannen - Royal Oak, Great Dalby

A return to a regular haunt and there was the regular crowd once more. Neil & Dan had the lurgy now - I just had tickly cough remnant. It all went its usual jolly way - a nice mix of a pub/dining/listening gig...
Got sooo tired in the 2nd set tho... Still getting match fit perhaps...
We sold 4 CDs which was nice :-)

Flute Dreamer CDs came from the label - somewhat too late for xmas sales... Odd really as I finished the album in June and it's been downloadable for a while.., so you've thought a a good time for the CD would've been.... Never mind.
I did sell 3 to those who'd been waiting and were not so bothered with xmas time.

Govannen Wedding ceilidh - Stamford

Wedding ceilidh - in a marquee - in the middle of an unlit park - in December...
Yes it was cold. - I lost touch with my feet after the first 30minutes.
However the wedding crowd were really in to the ceilidh dancing so the floor was full the whole time.
I was glad to get into the heated car at the end tho... Just about could feel my feet again by the time I got home...
