a 2 gig Saturday.
Melton Beer Festival was fun - our 3rd year running. And big surprise - Cheshire chum from schooldays Andy Skelhorn drives up at halftime :-) He'd been dropping his daughter off at university in Nottingham, saw my Facebook message about the beer fest - he's in CAMRA - and he saw had a chat and he saw our 2nd set :-)

We then have a ritual which is eating a hasty pie afterwards before setting off for our next gig

The wedding ceilidh gig involved a 2hour wait, then a busy boozy young crowd in a small village hall. Things were fine but the booze took it;s toll and following dances just wasn'yt gonna happen. Another surprise - a lass was ther that we all met at Dan's special school he works at.
We were pretty tired at the end of the 12 hour day...
