jazz duo @ Harlaxton, Govannen @ Melton Country Fayre

4th gig in 3 days were starting to tell - quite a long fdrive to Harlaxton, especially with detour for roadblock. However it was a bery quite night there, plus it was very humid. We were kinda half background for diners & half enetertaining those at the bar. Nice place - went as well as it could. Was goshdarn tired when i got home and the next day I was pretty good for nothing.

sun arvo - hottest day of the year Govannen played Melton Country Fayre - given my wussiness in sunn y weather I feared the worst - but it was really quite relaxed and pleasant - we just played in the beer tent and it was the right thing in the right place - we made friends and sold 8 CDs.

Had singer-songwriter in the studio to record some of his jazzyer songs. In the end we recorded a whoile song - drums, bass, electric piano, guitar & vocals - kinda Zombies influenced arrangement. Got paid too which we hadn't discussed but was most welcome.

My Nune Yesayan "Who Knows" album arrived today - it is yummy - you can hear it here http://armeniansound.net/nune-yesayan-who-knows - I reckon it is probably her best. Will get more tho.

Heatwave has passed thank goodness - nice grey day today so can suddenly thing and plan and do things again. :-)
