Govannen played int he afternoon at a Charity Fundday for MS ina a couple of adjoinging back gardens - i don't think i have ever seen so many garden gnomes, wishing wells, flowerpot men etc in one garden. The weather threatened but it styayed off - not too many there but it was easy going and people were nice.

I had only 1 hour turnaround from the afternoon gig with Govannen to eat, unpack, repack for my solo gig at The Criterion. No time for printing out lyric sheets, rehearsals.

I;d decided to not have a proper album launch but to just have a nice mellow solo gig, playing some songs from the new album, but playing anything I felt like. I took the big piano keyboard to the Criterion for the first time too.

It turned out to eb a great gig - not many there at the start but it filled up with friendly faces til we had 35-40, and they were a great listening coprwd and  could play ballads and rtamble on between numbers and folks listenedd and alughed - really relaxed. It helped I think being unprepared - and I was too tired to be bothered by anything. Tim the Glockenspieler joined me for a few songs near the end. Sold 8 CDs.

One of my favest song gis ever.

new songs played - Let Me Be, Science-Fiction Eyes, Letters In Time, The Wishing Tree, Funniest Feeling, Help MeFuture Beige, The Old Man's Song, The Last Place On Earth

old songs played - Lifespell, Proud Of You, Alien Salad Abduction, Alien Jellyfish Song, Carousell

covers played - Call Me, I Put A Spell On You
