Another week with no gigs - luckily I know I have gigs lined up in Dec and new year. However another week of no money in and a lot goingout. This week it was time to get half the floor in upstairs bedroom repleced due to more woodworm. More early starts, more decanting stuff, more driving about for wood, nails etc. It got wrapped up early Friday evening - we couldn;t face varnishing etc so just ploked everything back.

This week i have been uploading a lot of albums of mine to Route Nore - the free way of getting stuff onto iTunes, spotify, etc.... Fiddly and time consuming but nice feeling to get a lot of the less commercial stuff out to iTunes etc. Prior to this I;ve used CDBaby which has upfront fee of $55 per album - admittedly they distribute to more places and have a solid CD online store too but for my old jazz and home produced albums this Route Note solution is ideal. I have done 10 so far.

Monty came round on Thursday and I recorded some tracks for Fench singer songwriter Thierry Guillimot's album that Monty is producing. Thierry used to live in Leicester but Monty went to France to record him there. I adde tin whistle, piano and zither to 2 tracks. I also remixed a track for harper France Ellul.
