unfortunately this recovering from the bug is a 2 steps forward 1 step back thing - today was a 1 step back with no energy, scratchy lungs again.
Didn't get a lot done - had a look at the possible list for tracks getting on the DVD and again veered from cutting it to 70mins, then putting things back. (can a really cut out Long Days Waiting? ) I know it really doesn't matter much as it;s more of a momento s few will see it. The contrasting advice is - keep it short and slick and folks will watch til the end so just the "hits" - the other advice is - you won't be doing this again in a hurry, who cares why not put it all in? The answer is probably in the middle...
In evening as I wasnlt up to much I treated self to a Powell & Pressburger movie I hadn't seen before - I Know Where I'm Going 1945 Roger Livesey/Wendy Hiller - a spoilt lass off to marry a wealthy older industrialist on remote Scottish isle is stuck on the mainland by weather day after day, gets closer to Livesey. Great P & P film - not as BIG a fim as Matter of Life & Death but a charmng one.
I did in the post get a Singer Pur album of them singing music by Jacobus Handl-Gallus (1550-91) - nice
