yesterday I went back to The Musician venue where my 20th Anniversary gig was and shot some bonus footage on my Flip camera of me rambling on about my 20 years in the music business, bands, musicians, etc...
While there I asked the Man for some support slots there - got a couple, and a part in a reenactment of a big Dylan gig (I'll be Stevie Wonder apparently) and tho i failed to get the Les Barker opening slot I think I got the Barry Cryer one, and another with Lucy Wainwright-Roche (daughter of Louden with one of th Roches) .
Today I edited that footage and added a little music to the start and end. I also changed the artwork of the In Concert albums and the Live & Peace & Outer Space greatest hits live album - pretty happy with it all now.
All thats left is make the definitive decision on what gets on the DVD, gather all the various, music, notes, and edit times and bonus footage together onto disks to give to DVD editing lass Sally.
Had news today that my 20th Anniversary gig got a nice review in RocknReel Magazine - now how to find a copy now Borders has closed.... Coverage ! Yay!!!
I finished book Jack McDevitt's - Odyssey - (4th of thr "Hutch" books) - I was mighty glad of this when I was poorly - I do love how little happens in his books - nothing happens without someone riging someoe elase who is out and they have to ring them back, invite them to dinner to talk about etc.....It actally helps paint a very realistic view of the future. Usually he puts all his action into the last chapter, which tho this makes it seem less realistic at least spares us who dislikes much action in books from having it all over the book. Have order the next in the series.
Next book I'm starting is Helix by Eric Brown
Slight slipping in wellness today but it could be because I'm tired.
