France Ellul  & Govannen - Spirits of the Forest
Bridget McMahon - Avalon Moon
The Rain Garden - India

3 albums I produced are now released - I got a box of them in the post. This represents many months work come to fruition.
I know its odd to some to write arrange and play almost all the music and not have one's name on the front, but I do get 50% of royalties so its all good.
The Rain Garden album makes me happiest of the 3 - the first band i recorded with and our first in 10 years plus it has a few classic pieces we never got round to recording. Tho it was not made in the way we used to work (live & no overdubs) it still has some of that Rain Garden atmosphere.
The Bridget album will sell the best - the last one went very well, especially in America and chums seem to like the music on this even better. Not the kind of cover art I'dve chosen but hey - thats business.
The France & Govannen album ties up the trilogy of France albums - it had quite a tough time on the way but has come thru sounding great, I'm glad I made such a fuss over the horrendous cover art the label had planned. This is so much better. (original art was used on another album on the label here)

Been busy with various website stuff including these albums.

Tues
First gig was over an hour;s drive away in Marston, Lincs. A lot of hanging around - we got there at 6 and only started playing past 9pm. We were well looked after and were bought drinks, and meal and dessert provided. This was  aceilidh and tho we always had enough dancers it didn't feel like the most harmious group. bit of a David Brent moment when the boss decided he wanted to play a song with barely tolerant staff gathered round...

Second gig was at Trent Bridge cricket ground in Nottingham - quite something t see - and the pitch was so much smaller than I expected. We were mostly background music for a meal for a conference of archeologists. Again we got a meal nd dessert in th break. A handful loosened up and had a bit of a bop near the end, and one jolly Italian lass got out those balls in giant socks things and had a juggling session whilst we played. A bit odd but impressive. Nice people.

Thus ended 4 out-of-town gigs in 5 days and I was shattered on the Thursday. I sold a CC Live! CD online - first oline sale for a while, tho I;ve had a clutch of download sales at iTunes for My Minds Island, Songs for Dreamers and Close the Circle which is nice.
