Cactus Cafe/recording / computer faff
Sep. 25th, 2008 10:12 pmCactus Cafe gig with Andy the Sax went routinely. I enjoyed singing Call Me. I was a bit tired - and feeling the fact that Sept turned into a 15 gig month without me noticing.
Otherwise I;ve been puddling along doing recording by day. Not too efficiently but 2 new backing pieces are done for the India CD project more or less wraping up the pre-production. One more to do maybe and that's half done. Just need to fix recordingtimes with Carl the Sitar.
The song compilation is coming along, tho the tracks will need remastering to be together and I want to record my new song I Have Seen The Future as a bonus.
I sent some CDs out for review/airplay etc. inc Bridget's and Govannen's Celtic Fire to Radio 2 Mike Harding show...and copies of Choc Bossa and Yttrium to those requesting them for their radio shows i Portugal & Brazil.
Yesterday was a write off musicwise due to computer faff. It involved getting rid of Norton relic stuff, and what i could get rid of Adaware (Adaware 2007 refused to uninstall so had to chop away at the registry), then found on an obscure forum a trojan finder for vundo trojan - vundofix and was surprised when it identified an infected file - removed it with vundofix. End result of all this stuff - I still cant' install adaware 2008 coz it thinks I;ve still got 2007 which I thought I;d got all out of the registry, BUT everything is much faster now.
