2 jazz gigs - Dos Hermanos / Peepul Centre
Sep. 3rd, 2008 12:53 amBy day I've been crunching my accounts numbers into Excel. By night the last 2 nights I;ve had 2 jazz gigs with Andy the Sax.
1. Dos Hermanos - noisy crowd as students gathered back to meet after their break.
2. The Peepul Centre (no I'm not spelling it wrong) - new place to me - played in Indian restaurant part of this arts centre/gym/neighbourhood centre/ - small crowd but nice and attentive. Nice surprise my old Talking Fish band singer Debbie Robinson and family showed up - they emigrated to New Zealand so are over for a while. She got up and sang 4 songs with us. Nice to see her again and her 4yrold duaghter Auckland and partner and her dad.
