Thanks for hugs and support of late. Now I know what it's connected to the glooms are receeding nicely.

Last night had nice phone chat with ladymondegreen who I will be visiting with after Confluence for a few days. It was 2am for me at end of long day so I was more rambling than sparkling, but it was nice to hear her dulcet tones and put voice to emails - we'd only met briefly at GaFilk.

So today I bit the bullet and booked the flights to Newark and Pittsburgh. (fanfare!) Had the late brainwave of going from Birmingham and thus avoiding the London hassle and cost. Still was a little stunned at parting with 625pounds just like that.
I decided on cost and relaxing I would get to Pittsburgh late Weds night to de-jetlag, and have a day or 2 in Pittsburgh.

K48 rang and we met on the park and I heard about her weekend in Paris. Met her friend Kerry who I've oft heard about and not met before.

Then home, emailing, gig sorting , then out to gig at Mexican Restaurant with Andy the sax - a very hot and busy one.
