Oct. 8th, 2002 07:44 pmOh my gosh - I just cooked and ate one helluva meal -
couscous, veg (carrot, cougette, runner beans, tomato, mushrooms) in a tomato and soysauce sauce with large chunks of mozzerella, and a side salad.
I did forget to have lunch - I tell myself
Debbie R Ohi said she found it hard to think of me as a fatboy but I've put on 40lbs in a year and a half for various reasons.
I'd worry but everyone says I lookbetter with the extra weight. :-)
Another indulgent day of rest - I slept til noon and slept again for an hour in the afternoon.
I should be up to doing something tomorrow. I feel glimmers of inspiration filtering back to me in my zombieland state.

1. The Flower Kings are coming to London in Nov, just a week or so after Jefferson Starship - thats what happened last time I saw them, both. Plus TFK have a new studio album coming out then and an official live bootleg to fanclub members (me). Which I ordered. Can you tell I got my TFK fanzine today?
2. also got a choral Gesualdo CD I won on ebay - brilliant as ever. (actually tho if you get singers who use vibrato on medievel stuff it sounds shite - vibrato - a recent invention.
3. My punning won me a prize on the Lexx.com board - a knitted Lexx character of my choice - I'm still deciding

We stopped for ZEVeral reasons, as far as I underSTANd it.
Any one of 790 reasons. I suppose we had been getting a bit LEXX.
PRINCEipally MAN TRIDitionally underachieves. But looking WISTfully at the arKAIves here, I see that we may have set a PRESIDENT.
I'm a musician and last night at a GIG, A ROTTER came up to me with some MOTH-eaten excuse for a pun. He left some GUBBY MARX on my piano too. His girlfriend was alright though, you'd LYEKKA. She WOZ from VLADivostock and after I had DE VINE ORDERed over to her table, I tried chatting her up but she said, "BOG off!, I'm with this POET, MAN".
I was not a happy BUNNY, it cast a SHADOW over the whole evening.
Last night I watched Nosferatu - the 20s version - interesting rather than gripping. I kept thinking - wow 1920!!! Max Schrek looks great as N. tho
Gonna try and walk off dinner and my enourmous tum by going to the Irish session 2nite - I haven't been there in months.
