unclechristoDid some website stuff which was finicky - amalgamating the live CDrs onto one page.
Did a bit of Amazon shopping coz i had a 5quid voucher expiring this week. I ordered Venexiana singing Gesualdo's 4th Book of Madrigals and a Charlie Chan aphorisms book. In a moment of weakness I ordered the new CD by Finnish surfing guitar kings, Laika & the Cosmonauts - "Local Warming" from US Amazon
Got fed up of adware hijacking my browser - Adaware program wasn't getting it - downloaded Spybot for free and it does the job - and how.
percussionist from New Age fest sent me recording of my set with him. His electronic percussion is the best I've ever heard. - he was using one of these
Finished my A Bertram Chandler book Big Black Mark - fun nonsense as usual. Alternating as I do from lite to heavy, I decided to dabble with new - to me - author, Nancy Kress - Beggars & Choosers
Decided I've been IN too much and needed to go OUT and interact with PEOPLE. Went to the acoustic club - I was on near the end - I sang 3 headed Girl and Islands accompanied excellently by Robin the Sax & Fitz the Congas. Good chats were had with Fitz, Andy G, Chloe, Sheila M & Hamid.
Did my head some good getting out and about.
