I;ve had a background lurgy for weeks - sore throat, slight cough, neck glands up - then it would just go in time to do gigs, only to come back again. Well last night it decided it was a really heavy cold & fever - throat & lungs sore.

I knew I had to cancel gig with Govannen tonight - hate doing that! - and my solo set at Glastonbudget Festival. Monday's 2 Jubilee gigs aren't looking too good either. Just have to sit quiet and see how much fluid I can drink into my system...

Good news tho - the new Circus Maximus album came today - tho my head aint in mood for prog metal - and Gesualdo 2nd Book of madrigals (Naxos) - good timing. Yesterday also got the Martin Mkrtchyan (Armenian folk/soul)

More good news - I sold a Celtic Reiki CD and a Govannen Sniff The Pony download thru my website... :-)
I watched the Lexx 1st movie for 1st time in over 10 years - am assessing whether to get new complete box set (I never got the crap 4th series but feel I ought to see it thru - perhaps working was thru it all.

I;ve been working my way thru the Monkey! Lost 13 Episodes redubbed (Original dubbing cast reunited after 25 years to do the 13 undubbed shows. Still good - Pigsy's voice has aged and the announcer has since died replaced by Burt Kwouk. Mian thing I miss are Buddhist lessons at end of shows - Kwouk mostly just says "I'll tell you more next time"... Still better than nothing... The shows are a bit darker too indicating why they weren't chosen the first time.
