unclechristoBack to work - a wedding gig in tiny village of Brassington in Derbyshire in a tiny ancient village hall - a former Wesleyan chapel. The drive was 1hr20mins and felt fairly epic as the roads got more and more remote. Nice little do - not many there. The ceilidh bit added some focus to the evening and went down well. We finished on a song set but most had gone by then. Then the epic drive home - unthinkable without a satnav. Home about 12,30pm
Not so many gigs this month so need to generate a few more and go to some song sessions to remind folks I;m still alive. Also wouold be nice to start a recording project for Me - I'm still tossing up a few ideas. Then I have the old house still to sort out for fixing up to rent.
