more mixing - Bridget recording

OK - so I did some more remixes on the India album - 3 or 4. Now that must be it! Might meet with Carl the Sitar tomorrow to listen thru, agree on liner note waffle and wrap it up.

Had Bridget McMahon over from Ireland to do some more recording - finished recording one song - not  alot maybe but the Conway harmonies were a little involved as usual. I'm really tired now.

Just realised that Marcon and the Ohio trip are only one week away - gulp... Better get my filk set together!

Got some toys in the post - another Bollywood film Socha Tha Na by the same director as Jab We Met. Simon Stockhausen's Trip To Asia  soundtrack album which I;ve jst started listening to (sounds great) , (both of which I got real cheap) and System 7s new one Phoenix which has nice moments when the dance beats don't get to prominent. I like their ambient stuff best.

Need a quiet and early night.

Mixing and stuff

I can sympathise with you on the mixing thing and I spent a good hour today on the phone with Dave helping him setup his computer so he could up and download files to our FTP site. Just finished importing the fiddle tracks from Sam Baardman's wife and they sound great. Sorry we cannot make it to Marcon and wish we could be there.

yeah - it doesn't help that one wakes up every morning with different ears on! :-)
