One of those days where you just wake up "wrong". Limped thru the day with a jazz rehearsal with Andy the Sax, learning some new jazz standards for the set.

In the evening I took Neil the Bass out to the noodle bar as a thanks for the bassplaying on my album, - tho Neil still aint well at the moment. Then crossed town to meet up with G & friend in a pub I used to play in 17 years ago - I ran a jam session there every week  for 7 years - strange as the place bought back a lot of memories but had aslo been done over quite a bit. Still qute a few ghosts knocking round. Amongst non-ghosts, ran into Skats the Singer 's daughter and Lee the Drums and lady. A nice chillin evening - prolly what the doctor ordered.

Uploaded some of my film music - will put on my download page soon.

Last night I watched DVD "Left Right & Centre" 1959 (Ian Carmichael & Alistair Simm) - light political comedy - socialist (rtemember those? ) and tory candidates fall in love mid campaign at6 a bi-election.

Bookwise I finished Richard Wilson's "The Girls from Planet 5" and interesting romp thru future gender politics and aliens - very 1955. Fun tho. Started a Jack McDevitt - Chindi - tho i no longer consider him a totally safe pair of hands it;s nice to read something newish - been pulpy 50s/60s for a while now. - and he always sets a scene well.
