Govannen @ Midland Game Fair

So after the 2 gigs the day before it was up to leave at 9.30am to get to the Midland Game Fair near telford - about 90min drive and they wanted u s there 90mins early coz the get in is faffy. All very outdoorsy as you might expect - lots of shooting, hunting, country sports etc. We were on one of 3 stages surrounded by food outlets. We played two 45min slots - not a wildly enthusiastic crowd, but they werent there for us of course. Sold some CDs tho and passed out some cards. Also on the bill were the Black Feathers, a great duo I shared a stage with at Kontra Roots a while back - nice people destined for big things.

Solid traffic jam on the way home so it was a 2hr drive home and a looong day and loong 3 gig weekend...
