Audible Light - Luminescence

So here is the 2nd studio album from my ambient quartet Audible Light. I love playing with this group. We recorded it in an afternoon. We mixed and did some editing but all the tracks are in the order we played them and we deleted none. Such understated players - everyone really listens - sometimes someone provides a stimulus and the others join in or add a backdrop to it. Nice guys too - all quite introverted, as am I in my way... We were a bit worried as our first album Radiance wwent so well and was a bit special to all of us. We'd had no preconceived ideas then, now we had something to aim at... We didnlt want to disappoint ourselves.
A strange magical atmosphere happens when we start playing - this was only the 3rd time we had played together, - one of those was to record our forst album, and the other was an 8min spot at Quadelectronic. It's a nice space to play atmospheric piano too. This album was a little darke/more melancholy than the first one. If Radiance was sunlight, Luminescence is moonlight.
These albums are labours of love for me - no one much buys them - Radiance sold 6 :-) - but I put a lot into them and get a lot out of it.
