Govannen - Royal Horseshoes & Barnsdale Lodge

Friday 6th
A tough gig for Adele I'm sure as we were saddened to hear of the death of her (and Bridget's) father in Ireland. She was unable to get to Ireland, and said she wanted to do the gigs. My thoughts go to Deli & Bridget and the family.

Always a game of 2 halves at The Royal Horseshoes, Waltham On the Wolds - quiet dining gig to start with - then in the 2nd set they get up and dance like banshees. Always a nice crowd though.

Saturday 7th
Barnsdale Lodge wedding ceilidh gig - a nice laid back wedding - an older couple, so more relaxed. The people there danced well and enjoyed it. We had a couple of hours to wait to start but it meant we could talk about the album.
