Govannen - recording at Tiny's Studio

So the album we parked 6 months or so ago was reawakened - The plan was to fix some bits, add some bits and mix as we went along. Of course we did the first 2 but no real mixing. We'll have to reconvene for that. Tiny is the best and so is his studio but as a musician it is SO MUCH SLOWER than in your own studio. He also uses a solid state recorder, and although he is great on it, if youre used to editing on a computer that is very fustrating too. But there ya go, we get Neil's ears and expertise so there's the trade-off.
I'm leaving Dan to produce this one so I chip in but defer to him on this one. It has some of our own songs, and some Irish songs and tunes. A kind of live-in-the-studio feel as opposed to the glossy Paradise label productions.
6 hours we were there, without a break - and most of it hanging around - gosh I was tired at the end of the day...
