Dropped G off early to station for her week in London.
As part of my program to see more real people I went to 2 MacMillan Benefit Coffee Mornings - at the Donkey and the Friends meeting house, meeting neighbours Burt & Sylvia who joined me on the coffee crawl.
Lurgy not materialised tho I felt a little low on energy, but was fine for Joules Yard gig with Govannen. Was sold out and was one of our fave gigs of the year. We were back to a 5 piece and we just took it leisurely, didnlt play too many of the old Irish songs, and the crowd were lovely. I even had a request for the Alien Jellyfish Song. We sold 6 CDs and I sold 3 bulk price Songs for Dreamers CDs by arrangement with a chum who already has bouht 4 to give to friends. Funniest moment was when the bombarde reed malfunctioned and all the bombarde would do was squonk like a goose!
Hard to come down afterwrds so had busy disturbed night - Next day - hey there is that cold at last... Not heavy but that feeling slightly weird... My brother Jerry dropped in on at 10am his way to Cambridge for me to sign some papers. I half wanted to join him to see family in Cambridge but I didn't want to take lurgy to the family there...
So I chilled, walked round park, and another much needed nap... Slowly slowly.. Might be nice to myself and go and see a Bollywood film tonight.
