lunch, Memory Wire meet, gig dates, on the road

So I went to lunch with Jim the Laptop and on the way found Mo the Harper and after that Liz the Poet joined us. Yay! I socialised with real non virtual people :-) it's a start... And I wasn't too fidgety. Pretty calm crowd tho - in fact Jim fell asleep at one point...

Jim and I then had a Memory Wire meeting afterwards about the Fingerprints album and listened through, struggling with track titles...

Then had a looooong phone chat with Dan the Bodhran sorting out Govannen's gig dates. I booked tickets to see Lisa Stansfield in Brum.

I now have 6 gigs in 7 days - some a long way away .. Lincoln, Leicester City football stadium (function room), Crewe, Kettering, a day off then 3 shows at the Wood Fair, at Beacoon Hill, then Quadelectronic, then collapse.

Gotta do another music demo for the advert for the people in Shanghai too.

Gosh - looked around LJ for first time in years. Was surprised to find how few friends still post here. I guess Facebook, Blogspot, Wordpress, Tumblr and busy lives account for that...
