Cactus Cafe

Jazz duo with Andy Nicholls back at The Cactus Cafe, Loughborough. Busy night. We had rehearsed 4 new songs a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I had done a bit of homework in the day as we did played all 4 tonight... Whisper Not, My Funny Valentine, Mas Que Nada, How High The Moon. I just about made it OK. We're getting nice applause lately there. Not always the case. One couple comes every month bless 'em. Turns out they saw that Alan Ayckbourn play I saw a while back - they knew I;d seen it from reading my newsletter :-) So we chatted theatre in the break, dahlink... :-)
