Solo jazz in Stone in Staffs

Piano jazz gig in Stone was better this time - my second visit -  with some appreciative crowd.
After playing for 4 hours at that wedding the other day this seemed like breeze. 90min drive each way - bit tired when I got home...

Interesting post gig chat with older folks tonight...
This sounds odder than it was - they were nice folks and applauded my set lots :-)

Woman1 - how old are you?
Me - 51
Man1 - are you married?
Me - Yes I got married a couple of years ago.
Woman2 - so ...not your first time then?
Me - um.. Actually yes first time.
Man1 - did you marry a man or a woman?
Me - a woman
Woman1 - why did you ask him that for? Sorry about him.
Man1 - well you never know these days...
Man2 - you need to play more modern stuff. Do you play any Billy Joel?
