Cactus Cafe - Whitehouse Acoustic Club.

Jazz duo again at the Cactus Cafe - jazz gigs are rare enough now that i really look forward to them. The set seemed to go by in a flash... Quite a busy night, and ex-owner Paul came in and chatted with us afterwrds when we dined. He's not really left the place.
Thu 2nd
Went to Kirky's acoustic club in Scraptoft - sooooo out of practise playing my songs - tried 2 newer ones Vegetarian Vampire and Superheroes Never Die - made mistake of giving myself lyric sheet that was too tempting to look at. Woulda perhaps done better without them. Gonna hafta get out there to the open mics and get some confidence back... Nice to see & hear Steve Cartwright after some long time...
