Recording / snow / Govannen @ Frisby

Mostly been recording the filk album in the week - snow came and stayed. Was going to play on Fri 18th at Lou Kirk's birthday but the snow stopped us coming - was all about to gog then heard reports of buses sliding all over the place ont he route I;d planned to take.

Things cleared up enough on the Sat 19th to play with Govannen (with Adele restored to us) in Frisby on the Wreake at an amazing house. The room we were in was the swimming pool - covered over - on top of this the owber had been putting ona  a pantomime for familyt and friends and all aroundwas scenery, pink castle, a ship and lollypop like trees. Our stage was thecovered jaccuzzi covered with astroturf. We had a long break in the middle, were given a three course meal - and it was all in all quite surreal.
