Govannen - Ange's party, Nether Broughton
Nov. 4th, 2012 02:25 pm2 gig weekend again for Govannen
Fr 2nd - Ange's 40th birthday bash at Kirby Bellars Village Hall
Odd to set up at the site of our annual Govannen Xmas bash, but for percussionist Neil's wife's 40th birthday. Still there were old chums and new and food.
Sat 3rd - the Anchor Inn, Nether Broughton
A tiny pub but we squeezed in and as it was last time we were here it was great fun to play in intimate surroundings. Folks listened and some including Ab Kettelby Stomper Tom danced at the end. Our American chum Gio sang some songs in the break and I joined him - we sold 3 CDs. A lovely Kiwi lass is landlady and she danced all evening.
