Quadelectronic 52 - OWR Radio interview - Mo recording

Quadelectronic 52 was just 5 of us. QE51 had been noise based affait but this was quite mellow and electronicly weebly. I kept it to all permutations of duos (10) and one quintet - which was noisy... I took just theremin thru ring mod and delay/echo and a synth. Quite enjoyed the simpler set up than usual and the sound of the theremin thru the Lexicon effects has always been special and perhaps undervalued since I got other kit.

I had a long interveiw on One World Radio with Steve & Chrissie - tried to set up Skype before hand hastily but kept getting 3 second delay in and out so it had to be on the phone. Talk focused on the new Govannen album and I rambled on as usual.

Was a bit brain burned this week finishing my jazz album - that last mile is always a heavy one - mastering/remixing/remastering - getting levels right etc... then cover art etc... Had recording session with Mo Coulson tfor the mermais album. The whole session went into putting layers of her harp and vocals onto one of my long ambient chillout pieces. A rather mechanical business, poor Mo had to soak up and play/sing out little fragments which go to make the whole collage which was probably not very satisfying but she did a great job, mixing this one will be interesting... One more session with Mo, then fit in guests but I can probably start mixing now...
