Friends & Family trip

Dropped in on Debs & family in their new home in Worksop. Then went up to Sheffield to G's folks - now my in-laws of course :-) -  for G's dad's surprise fathers day meal at Cafe Rouge. Nice mellow dinner tho i needed a nap soon after our arrival as was weary from late gig. 

Memory Wire - Meteor

Jim Tetlow & I have been putting together live material to make an live album by our duo Memory Wire. We had planned only to do a  studio album but we had some great live recordings and... wel you use them or you lose them. This week was about choosing, editing the music, choosing titles - usually tricky but not so bad this time - we were helped by finding a poem by Marge Piercy - "Leonids Above Us" - which in turn gave us the album title "Meteor". 

Then the cover art made by Jim, then graphics, then printing out some copies and uploading it to the download sites. It has inspired us to know what we want from our next studio album. Here it is...http://www.chrisconway.org/cd_mwire4.html

We need to up our publicity a bit - Jim's making us a better site - then Facebook page etc... Be nice to get some gigs but for mellow electronic instrumental it;s not so easy...
