Whole gigs of me playing my songs are quite rare but song gigs with a band are rarer still so it was a pleasure to play with my chums Neil Segrott on bass and Neil Rabjohn on cajon drum plus my old Storm Thieves comrade Dave Everitt at The Donkey. Despite the rain and Easter break there was a nice crowd of about 45ish and they were listening and appreciative tho strangely quiet for The Donkey. Dave opened with a solo set, then my band did a short set.

I sang a song (Run By You) and played a theremin solo piece in memory of Barbara Buchholz - for me they were the most moving parts of the night.
Then the band plus Dave played a long set together, playing a varied set of mine and Daves songs covering 20 years of material. Was a nice mellow gig - and sold 3 CDs :-)
