3 gigs in a row for Govannen
1. a wedding at The Riverbank in Nottingham - we played between sets of a Take That tribute band... - Nice people tho - lots of Scots guys in kilts, etc.,..

2. Sketchley Grange, Burbage - a wedding ceilidh - quite a quiet crowd left to their own devices but when we told them what to do they all joined in really well and followed Cathy our caller's instructions really well.

3. Opening for Davey Arthur at The Musician, Leicester - this gig was just going to be forAdele & Dan but as it was a posh stage gig and no money in it anyway we played it as a 4 piece - got some nice photos with my new magic camera - http://www.flickr.com/photos/unclechristo/sets/72157627474938479/ we played pretty tight and added a couple of our original songs - my Long Day's Waiting and Dan's Snow & the Fire - we sold some CDs which was nice.
