Friday 25th - Kate
Kate Easton came round - I helped her with some artwork for 2 of her CDs. Made a good start.
Sun 27th - Natterjacks
A 40min songs slot at Natterjacks bar in leicester. Jim Tetlow joined me on his cajon drum - apart from 2 die-hard fans bless'em there was no real audience but it was a good workout - The Wishing Tree got it's debut performance.
Tue 29th - Busking
Sally Hossack wanted to film some musicians busking at various places around Leicester to make an interactive app for iphone as part of her MA. Jim joined me and we set up near the museum. I just took kalimbas and whisltes - went thru Lifespell and I want Something several times ina couple of locations. Then we finished and went for lunch. Nice.
Quadelectronic 34.
A record 19 players came to QE34 including one new guy who brought a vibraphone!! One he had made himself!!! I couldn't resist so had a go on it for 1 improv - my forst ever go on some vibes - great. Despite marathon plugging in session for 19 players the night ran quite smoothly and the music produced was quite restrained and arty
