Donkey Song Club

Played a 30min solo songs set at the Donkey - I was soooo out of practise with songs - and especially on guitar - my fingers were sore from the strings. I had changed strings in the arvo - a brave move I thought :-) My set went OK depiste the odd lost or hastily substituted word - best part was the normally noisy Donkey all quitened down for my set and stayed that way which was special. Also pleasing was that I didnlt chickn out of playing some old old songs I haven't played in a while - eg Same Shore and Run By You... All good confidenxce boost for Weyfest on Sunday.
Stayed to watch local young band Ashdown who I had seen before and are very good.
